The department attended the Towns 4 Troops Learning Expo held at the Woodbury Senior Center on 11/12/17 from 1pm-4pm. Lots of people turned out to hear about opportunites to become civicly engaged in the local community.

Department Hosts Local Cub Scouts Tours

The Town of Woodbury Police proudly congratulates Chief Watson on his promotion. A swearing-in ceremony was held today, 12/15/2016, at the Town Hall at 7:30PM. The department looks forward to further growth and success under his leadership. 

Hundreds of residents enjoyed the Woodbury PBA's Easter Egg Hunt on 4/8/17 hosted at Earl's Reservoir.

New Hires 

Early in the month of March, the Hudson Valley area was impacted by a record winter storm, Stella, which produced over 2 feet of snow in the area. Town of Woodbury Police maintained a patrol presence throughout the town and responded to many calls for service throughout the storm. 

No Shave November

The Town of Woodbury Police Department would like to welcome their newest members. Police Officer(s) Robert Thomas III, Ryan Sinclair, and Lawrence Coe were sworn into the department on Thursday night March 15, 2018, at the Town Board Meeting. Their hiring fills some of the vacant positions at the department and we are looking forward to getting them on patrol. Congratulations gentlemen and we wish you nothing but success.

Towns 4 Troops Learning Expo

Local cub scouts requested a tour of the Town of Woodbury Police Department to learn more about the services first responders provide for their community. The children were able to get their fingerprints taken, see the facilities, and  interact with the staff of the department. 

​Shop With A Hero

Woodbury Police, Monroe Police, Woodbury Ambulance and the team at Target had their "Shop with a Hero" day. Kids and cops teamed up for a day of holiday shopping at Target where each kid was given a $50 Target gift card to shop with. Afterward we all were treated to pizza and drinks. Thanks to all involved.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Wooodbury Police would like to inform the community that if they have any concerns or issues related to the current active construction zones for the areas of Route 17/32 they can call the following number to relay their complaints: 



​The Woodbury Police Officers participated in an event called "No Shave November". This is a month long event during which participants forgo shaving in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness. Each officer donated $75.00 dollars to participate in the program and all of the proceeds will be made to ST JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH
